Bend Sinister has been the pet project of singer songwriter Daniel Moxon for the last 10 years. His dad wanted him to become an engineer, but instead he went to university for 4 years to end up with a Film Major before switching gears completely to music. Bend Sinister started as a high school project between Dan and 3 friends, the other guitar players in their jazz band, but now many years and many line-up changes later, the band has taken shape into one of the most refreshingly original rock bands around. After touring Canada over 5 times with bands like Young Galaxy, Mobile, and Pride Tiger, playing shows with bands like The Stills, Hot Hot Heat, and Metric, and playing festivals like Dawson City and Sled Island, the band is gaining more and more of an audience and making its mark in the Canadian music scene. The current line-up includes bassist Joel Myers, drummer Jason Dana, and guitarists Joseph Blood and Henry Alcock-White. Now the band is stronger and tighter than ever and ready to take the world by storm.
