Paper Moon

Despite what you may have been thinking, the members of Paper Moon have not been vacationing on some private Italian beach. Nor have they been engaged in rampant debauchery in the "Pudding Room" of their enormous mansion. Also, they haven't just been sitting around watching TV*. They’ve been busy. Moving, marriages, babies, new jobs...and around all of that, the band managed to write and record an album's worth of songs!

While we’re busy making the final arrangments for the album’s April 2009 release, we realize that Paper Moon fans have been waiting patiently for some new music. As a special treat, we’re releasing a CD EP right now to make the waiting a little easier.

It will feature the song "What Are You Going To Do With Me?" which will be on the upcoming album ONLY DURING THUNDERSTORMS. It will also have some unique Paper Moon stuff on it that the band did at Spare Bedroom Studio (which is actually just their spare bedroom) like a remix of "These New Friends Of Yours...", a little ditty called "We Can Take The Long Way", and two covers of Hot Little Rocket and Lindy songs. It will all be encased in hand-made sleeves. This sweet item will be available for advance purchase from the Endearing Records website on December 1st, with an official release on January 6, 2009.

*(Note from the band: “One of those statements is a lie. I'll give you a hint...it's the last one. We've been doing some TV watching. Let me just say that while I'm happy for Joshua and his "So You Think You Can Dance" victory, I am not sure he was the best dancer in the final four. I would've gone with Twitch”).
