bigmcenroe (Rod Bailey) and Alvaro Rojas met when their kids went to the same school and their wives forced them to hang out together. It didn’t take long to establish their mutual love of music and next thing you know they were in the bigmcenroe’s home studio, trying a few riffs and having some fun.

Alvaro is a classically trained musician specializing in jazz and avant garde, while bigmcenroe has been writing and producing hip hop for his entire adult life. Over the pandemic, the pair collaborated remotely on Noodles, the new LP out via Peanuts & Corn on October 21, 2022.

MORE ABOUT ALVARO ROJAS Alvaro Rojas is an award winning guitarist and composer based in Vancouver B.C. As a guitarist he performs regularly with his trio, as well with other local artists in the pop, rock, jazz and improvised music communities. As a composer, Alvaro has had works performed by many of Canada’s finest new music groups, including the Turning Point Ensemble, Aventa Ensemble and the Microcosmos String Quartet. He has written music for choir, big band, orchestra, various chamber groups and small ensembles, and has scored numerous short films.
