River Tiber, the Toronto vocalist, producer, and multi-instrumentalist also known as Tommy Paxton-Beesley, has shared a new single “Taurus”. Arguably his most serene work yet, the song’s gentle acoustic strumming stretches out across a latticework of electronic textures as Paxton-Beesley’s hushed vocals ruminate on unconditional love. The song arrives on the heels of last year’s subdued but tension-laden single “Deep End”, both acting as mile markers on the road toward his sophomore full length, anticipated later this year.

“Taurus” continues River Tiber’s tradition of crafting nearly every element of the music himself - writing, recording, producing, as well as performing vocals, guitar, bass, synth, piano, and violin. His range of talents has kept him at the core of a group of collaborators that includes Daniel Caesar, BADBADNOTGOOD, Charlotte Day Wilson and producer Frank Dukes. Through extensive work with Dukes and others, River Tiber has appeared via feature or sample on releases by Travis Scott, SZA, Mac Miller, Usher, PARTYNEXTDOOR, Post Malone, Jhene Aiko, Ty Dolla $ign, Kaytranada, BadBadNotGood, and many more.
