KEVIN DREW ANNOUNCES SKID MARKS OF THE SOUL

ANALOGUE GALLERY PRESENTS THE DEBUT ART SHOW FROM THE INTERNATIONALLY CELEBRATED MUSICIAN AND SONGWRITER

“Words and colours. Two things that can describe the emotional state,” says Kevin Drew. “I have always believed everyone can create art. I have always believed everyone can write a poem. There is no system to creating. It belongs to everyone. This is an exploration into the years of knee scrapes, personal award shows, let downs and amazing almosts in the constant love and loss. The basic formula for all those who regret and for all those who don't. Enjoy”

Beginning April 15, Toronto’s Analogue Gallery (673 Queen St. West) will host the Broken Social Scene co-founder, songwriter, and front man’s first art show, Skid Marks Of The Soul.  Known for his unorthodox lyrical explorations of family, hope and disappointment, skin and spit, intercourse, cultural infection and the death of communication, Kevin Drew is now expanding his palette. Running until April 28, this is a must see exploration of an internationally heralded performer taking his art to a new level. More information on Analogue Gallery hours can be found HERE and various works of art will be for sale throughout the show’s run.
