Montreal-based songwriter Jenny Berkel is taking the wraps off the new video for “Wealth In The Country” from her new record, Pale Moon Kid. Directed by Rebecca Blackwood, the video premiered via MusikBlog.

Now on the last leg of a successful Canadian tour, Berkel will perform in Calgary, Saskatoon, and Winnipeg before heading overseas for a string of European dates.
Out now on Pheromone Recordings, Pale Moon Kid was recorded with Daniel Romano at the peak of summer in Welland, ON, where they were joined in studio by Berkel’s sister, Kay Berkel, who was an important part of making the album. Of the new LP, Exclaim! said that “Jenny Berkel's voice is a smouldering sound to behold. …absorbing and haunting”, while the Winnipeg Free Press claimed that “Pale Moon Kid is a rich, thoroughly entrancing recording.”
