Guess what? Tiga’s havin’ fun again on "HOT WIFE," the latest single ahead of his upcoming HOTLIFE album, out April 17, 2026 via Turbo Recordings / Secret City Records. His third offering from the highly-anticipated comeback record, “HOT WIFE” brings back a longtime collaborator and old friend, superstar producer Boys Noize. These two certified legends of electronic music have helped define late-2000s electro and club culture, with a mutual respect that has been fostered over decades of b2b DJ sets and marathon studio sessions. After crossing paths on the now-seminal dance tracks “Bugatti” and “100,” they lead us into 2026 with a revival of their long-dormant production partnership.
Written in Berlin alongside Boys Noize, the new single's unapologetic pop sensibility is something that Tiga wrestled with nightly: "You reach a point where making unassailably cool dance records can lead to diminishing returns. In a way, it’s the safest thing you can do. You can’t live in fear that a man in a fedora is going to like your music. At the end of the day, it’s simple: this song comes down to a huge bassline I made with my mouth so I can tell you about my wife and my life."
Beyond exploring frequencies outside his comfort zone, Tiga also made the tough decision to give the public a glimpse of his private world: "Since the dawn of time, people have romanticized the DJ/Producer as the Ultimate Bachelor Fantasy," he explains. "When it became clear that it was only a matter of time before news of my wife leaked, my crisis PR team told me in no uncertain terms that I needed to get ahead of it and control the narrative. In any case, I’m betting big that this release is going to take my marriage to the next level."

And to those who might interpret the single’s lyrical content as mere bragging, Tiga urges us all to understand his message through the prism of Radical Gratitude and fostering new dialogues: "As for the lyrics*, all six words are based on my truth," he says. “Newsflash: only a small percentage of men are married to hot women and a lot of them are great guys like me. Why not listen to what we have to say?"
Tiga would like to make it clear that the song’s lyrics are in no way a reference to the swinging term ‘hotwife,’ which he only learned about six hours ago.
Following the long-awaited “ECSTASY SURROUNDS ME” and Fcukers collab “SILK SCARF,” “HOT WIFE" serves as the third pre-release single from HOTLIFE, Tiga’s first album in a decade. The project will also contain features from Fcukers, Maara, and MRD.

Tiga, born in Montreal, is a globally renowned DJ, producer, and the creative force behind Turbo Recordings. His journey began in the vibrant chaos of the 1980s Indian club scene, where he developed a deep appreciation for electronic music’s transformative power. Returning to Montreal in the early 1990s, Tiga pioneered a new wave of nightlife, introducing innovative party concepts, guest DJs, and Montreal’s first rave, “Solstice,” in 1993. His relentless pursuit of musical excellence saw him co-founding the legendary nightclub Sona, creating a sanctuary for bold, cutting-edge dance music, while his label Turbo Recordings became a launchpad for numerous iconic releases in electronic music from legends such as Chromeo, Azari & III, Gesaffelstein, Duke Dumont, ANNA, and Charlotte de Witte.
There’s always been a fertile creative tension at the heart of Tiga’s music: on the one hand he’s the underground techno don, on the other, there’s a pop sensibility that enables him to write great songs. It’s this duality that makes him one of electronic music’s most engaging characters. He’s about as far from your faceless techno DJ as it’s possible to get.

As a producer, Tiga achieved global recognition with his chart-topping cover of “Sunglasses at Night,” a collaboration with Zyntherius, which became an anthem for electro enthusiasts. His remix credits include high-profile artists such as The xx, LCD Soundsystem, Moby, Depeche Mode, and Justice, solidifying his reputation as a master of reinvention. Tiga’s contribution to the prestigious DJ Kicks series showcased his eclectic style, while his original works, including the hit single “Pleasure from the Bass,” cemented his place in the pantheon of electronic music.
With his infectious creativity and a career spanning decades, Tiga continues to captivate audiences worldwide, shaping the sound of modern club culture. ABOUT BOYS NOIZE:
Boys Noize is a German-Iraqi electronic music producer, DJ, songwriter, and label founder whose genre-defining work has helped shape modern techno, electro, and house music. Born in Hamburg in 1982, Alex Ridha began DJing at age 15 and quickly developed a reputation for high-energy, forward-thinking club music rooted in underground culture.
In 2005, he founded the influential imprint Boysnoize Records, later expanding its vision with BNR TRAX and, more recently, the concept label Ones and Zeros. Across nearly two decades, Boys Noize has released a series of critically acclaimed albums including Oi Oi Oi, Power, Out of the Black, Mayday, and +/-, while continually evolving his sound between raw club tracks and experimental compositions.
As a producer and collaborator, Boys Noize has worked with artists ranging from Daft Punk, Nine Inch Nails, Depeche Mode, and Snoop Dogg to Frank Ocean, A$AP Rocky, and Lady Gaga. He is also one half of the Grammy Award-winning duo Dog Blood with Skrillex, and the co-founder of the Octave Minds project with Chilly Gonzales.
Renowned for his explosive DJ sets and uncompromising artistic vision, Boys Noize remains a global force in electronic music, bridging underground credibility and main-stage impact while continuing to push the boundaries of contemporary club culture.
