Riun Garner is a Canadian singer-songwriter and actor based in Vancouver, BC. His music often explores themes of love, loss, and personal reflection, delivered through intimate vocals and thoughtful arrangements. Today, he is sharing the new single, “Someone To You”, which is featured in the new season of Netflix's My Life With The Walter Boys (S2E7).
Following recent singles “Wasted” and “Sleep Better”, "Someone To You” is about “the kind of love that makes the world feel less chaotic,” explains Garner. “The kind that feels like home, and makes you want to show up as the best version of yourself.”

Known for his emotionally resonant indie folk-rock sound, Garner draws inspiration from a diverse range of music, from early aughts coffee shop rock to modern artists such as The 1975, Soccer Mommy, and Slow Pulp.
Garner's debut EP, All We Know and All We Forget, released in 2020, was recorded using an analog reel-to-reel tape machine, a distinctive analog sound to tracks like “Wrote Myself Off”, which was featured on Spotify's playlist ‘The Most Beautiful Songs in the World’. In 2023, he released his first full-length album, Nice To Meet Ya, showcasing a more mature and upbeat sound that blends analog textures with modern indie rock influences. Album tracks “Loner”, “Nice To Meet Ya”, and “Replace Me” were featured in the NBC comedy Ms. Match, which also starred Garner.
Garner’s film credits also include appearances in Riverdale, Supernatural, and a starring role in the upcoming A24 feature film Eternity.
